Niemann-Pick Disease, What is It? Why is it a Child Killer?
October is Niemann-Pick Disease Awareness Month.
A family affected by NPD created this video. Although several years old, the information is still highly accurate.
Gabrielle LaVerde, featured at the end, lost her battle with NPC in February 2012, at the age of 10 1/2.
