For the Mothers of Angels
This week The Compassionate Friends posted images on their Facebook page in tribute of all those mothers who have lost a child. I have copied these images here:
Jill, I wanted to wish you a happy mother's day but I was afraid too - I didn't know just what to say and I thought this day would be hard for you. So I said a prayer for you this morning. At the same time I think of all the support, information and sharing you give to me for my Amy and I know you're one of the best moms I know and I wanted to say happy mother's day. Because you're still and always will be a mother and you carry on with what you learned and what you know and assist others. And you have a lot of compassion - more than most and understanding and you don't keep it to yourself. Thank you for finding me online, for being my friend, for supporting me as I watch my own child struggle. And most of all, Happy Mother's Day.
